School Closed- Thursday, January 29, 2026

Well, this isn’t at all the message I expected to send this morning, but after driving some of our more rural county roads, I feel it is in the best interest to close school today. There is no way we can safely get a bus down some of these roads. And I would not feel comfortable asking you to drive some of these roads. Even our parking lot did not get the melting that I expected. I don’t see enough melting to occur in order to even begin at 10:00 when buses have to run earlier than that.

With that being said, I expect that most everything should be melted off by the time our basketball tournament will begin at 3:30. So that will move forward as planned.
Thank you for all your patience as we have navigated Icemaggedon 2026. We will be working over the next couple of weeks to determine how many of these days we will need to make up and schedule those on Fridays as soon as possible.
