My husband and I have lived in Stephenville for more than 20 years and have raised 4 wonderful kids. After years of chasing kids and (loving) watching them play sports, we are now empty nesters! I love reading, cooking, and visiting with family and friends. I graduated from Tarleton in 2011, and have taught 1st and 2nd grades, and now kindergarten. Teaching makes my heart so happy! I’m so blessed to be part of Morgan Mill ISD!
Kourtney Redstrom - firstname.lastname@example.org
1st grade, GT Coordinator, Cheer/Drill Team SponsorI was raised in Hamilton, the Dove Capital of Texas. I grew up in a rodeo and ranching family. I have a love for all sports, which led me to Tarleton State University where I was a member of an All Girl Cheering Squad. Go Texans!! I received my bachelors degree from Tarleton in Early Childhood Education; while I was completing my degree I was a student teacher at Morgan Mill. During my student teaching semester I felt right at home in this wonderful school and community, and I was lucky enough to get hired on as the fourth grade teacher. As I enter my second year I am moving down to first grade and couldn’t be more excited!

I like being outdoors. I am a big reader. I love to garden. I have a 13 year old son named Jhett. He loves to play sports and fish, so I spend most of my extra time watching him at games or helping him practice.

Taylor Stricklin - firstname.lastname@example.org
3rd-5th grade ELA, 504 Coordinator
I started school here at Morgan Mill ISD and came for several years before my family moved. It is wonderful to be back at such an amazing school and to see it grow so much from when I came here as a child. I graduated from Tarleton with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, but went on to get my teacher certification. As a teacher, I love to see the moment when a student understands a concept and it all just clicks with them and their face lights up with happiness and pride. I live in Stephenville with Ian, my high-school sweetheart, our two children Dexter and Cora, and our two dogs.
